Women of the Harvest Retreat

What a blessing! I was able to attend a WOTH Retreat in Dubrovnik, Croatia with 17 other women from Albania. We left by mini bus last Thursday (after a glitch in the size of our bus was figured out) and drove the apprx 8 hrs to our hotel. WOW! A beautiful hotel on the Adriatic Sea and amazing rooms. We were so blessed because this was NOT paid for by us but by sponsors in the US who care and have a heart for women missionaries all over the world. see photos at below link...

Our times were filled with morning sessions of worship (in English!), teaching by Mimi Wilson, small group times for discussion, optional workshop topics, fun group activities to get to know one another (there were 75 women there), book swap, free time of pampering and amazing food. They lavished gifts on us from the States such as worship music, books, etc. The goal was to have this time to relax and restore away from the demands of ministering cross-culturally. It was a safe place to laugh, cry and share our hearts with one another who also live and work in similar situations or with the volunteers who came with big hearts for us all.

It was just a great experience to be prayed for, loved on and listened to by amazing women who love the Lord and care about us. If you have never heard about WOTH please check them out on the web and know that they are doing an amazing job of encouraging women.
