Women's Day here in Albania is a big day! It is a celebration of women...not just moms. Our church put on a special movie time with dessert and coffee. We watched a subtitled in Shqip version of Pride and Prejudice and enjoyed apple crisp and coffee. It was a nice time to gather with some of the women at our church. Don worked with some of the men to help put this time together. They did a great job!
I will still look forward to Mother's Day in May!---celebrating a holiday that is close to my heart.
The Albanians do not have a holiday for just moms.
