Do you own a can opener?

This is a strange question. I know. I was buying a can of peas at the little store near us and the nice lady asked me if I wanted her to open my can for me....hmmm. I had to give that a thought and then told her, "No. I have a can opener of my own...but thanks." As I walked home, I thought, "Oh, my! There are people here who might not even own a simple can opener!" Give that some thought when you next search for your own or use your electric one...just another reason to be thankful.
