Sew Much Fun Fridays: Jo! Jo! It's Yo-Yo-s!

yo!yo! What?

We have had a great time in sewing class recently. Pam is teaching us (me included!) how to make

yo-yos to make a doll. Here, the word "jo" means "no". In America, it means a toy. So we are 

making yo-yos that to the girls means we are making "no-nos".

Isn't language fun?!

Ha! Not always. In this case, yes.
